How Can We Help You?
Find instant answers to questions about your permanent QR code, lock-screen setups, SMS alerts, and privacy controls.
Getting Started & QR Scanning
No app, software, or account is ever required to scan. Any standard smartphone camera (iPhone or Android) instantly recognizes the QR code and opens your emergency profile securely in their web browser in under a second.
From your dashboard, visit the 'Cards & QR' or 'Lock Screen' tab. Choose your preferred wallpaper style, generate the high-resolution image, save it to your phone photos, and set it as your wallpaper or lock screen in your phone settings.
The public emergency scan page is engineered to be extremely lightweight (under 50KB core payload), allowing it to load reliably even on weak 3G/4G cellular networks.
Yes! Your membership includes unlimited high-resolution downloads of printable credit-card size wallet cards, foldable cards, helmet stickers, and wristband inserts with your permanent QR code.
Emergency Contacts & SMS Alerts
You can add 1 Primary Call Contact (who receives direct 1-tap phone calls and WhatsApp chats from rescuers) plus up to 3 Emergency SMS Alert Contacts. All contacts can be edited or updated at any time in My Profile.
When a bystander or first responder scans your QR code and taps the confirmed emergency alert button, our automated notification system dispatches high-priority SMS alerts to your designated emergency contacts.
If the responder allows device location access on their smartphone, their precise GPS coordinates are included in the SMS alert as a direct Google Maps link, helping family members pinpoint where the emergency occurred.
You can add, edit, or remove contacts at any time from your member dashboard under My Profile. You are never locked into the initial information entered during sign-up.
Profile, Privacy & Permanent QR
Never! Your QR code is permanent. Whenever you edit your medical details, blood group, allergies, or phone numbers in your dashboard, the changes reflect immediately on your permanent QR code. There is no need to reprint anything.
Yes. In your dashboard, you have full access to granular privacy toggles. You can mark any field (photo, date of birth, allergies, conditions, notes) as private. Private fields are completely hidden from the public scan screen.
We keep insurance simple and uncluttered with three optional fields: Insurance Company, Policy Number, and 24/7 Assistance Phone Number. You can find this inside the 'More Emergency Information' section in your dashboard.
Medical Role & Emergency Disclaimer
No. Emergency ID is strictly an emergency information tool designed to store and display personal emergency details to first responders. It does not monitor calls, dispatch medical rescue, or provide clinical triage. In an emergency, always dial your local emergency services (911, 112, 999) first.
The emergency scan page always loads in English by default for global consistency. A first responder in Germany, Thailand, France, or Spain can manually tap the language switcher at the top of the scan page to display the information in their preferred language.
