Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026 • Please read carefully
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or using the Emergency ID website, permanent QR code services, or mobile lock-screen generators (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Critical Service Disclaimer • Not an Emergency Dispatch
Emergency ID is an emergency information tool, not an emergency response or medical service. We do not monitor calls, dispatch ambulances, or provide medical triage, diagnosis, or treatment.
In any life-threatening situation or trauma, you or any rescuer must ALWAYS dial official local emergency telephone services (such as 911, 112, or 999) first.
3. Customer-Reported Information & Accuracy
All profile information—including blood group, allergies, conditions, basic medications, and emergency contact numbers—is entered directly by you (or an authorized carer). Emergency ID does not verify clinical accuracy.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all data is accurate, truthful, and kept up-to-date. Inaccurate information may result in delays or improper care during an emergency.
4. Emergency Contacts Consent
You represent and warrant that you have obtained explicit consent from any person you designate as an emergency contact or SMS alert recipient. They must be aware that their name and phone number will be stored and that they may receive emergency phone calls or automated SMS notifications in the event of an emergency.
5. Membership, Billing & Cancellations
Emergency ID is provided on an annual membership subscription. Membership fees are billed once per year in your local currency. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard to prevent automatic renewal.
All promotional vouchers, trial codes, and sponsor discounts are valid only for the designated promotional duration.
6. Technical Dependencies & Connectivity
While we maintain 99.9% cloud server uptime, the scanning of your QR code and transmission of SMS alerts rely on third-party mobile carriers, internet service providers, rescuer smartphone capabilities, and camera hardware. Emergency ID cannot guarantee that third-party cellular networks or phones will be operational in every location.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Emergency ID and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service, the inability of a rescuer to scan a QR code, carrier SMS delays, or actions taken by third-party first responders.
